Dazzie has got to be the sweetest goat we have had, she has a gentle nature. She is so adorable with her little elf ears and expressive eyes. She is an interesting mix of lamancha and nubian personality. She was also a bit of an accident, when Blue, just a youngster last year, managed to break into the doe pen the night after I had taken Glori to a visit with the lamancha buck. When the babies arrived, it was clear who the dad was!
She is long bodied with a very long neck, and long bone pattern. She has a good rump. She is an easy keeper. Her flashy coloring is a nice bonus. All of Glori's babies have had some variation of belts and spots.
Dazzie freshened and with a lovely udder. Easy, uneventful kidding (so fast I missed it in fact). She is now for sale and should make a great milker. At 3 weeks fresh she milked 3.75 lbs overnight. So she's milking about 7 lbs a day. Not too bad for a yearling first freshener!
