I never intended to have lamanchas but Glori's great personality has won me over. Glori was given to me by my grandfather. She is a great mom, easy about everything, puts up with anything etc. Loves people, she will stay with you even when the rest of the herd leaves to browse. She is a bossy little goat with the herdmates though! But not agressive. Very funny girl. She has a great nature and is easy going, will even let me milk her without grain.
She did not get appraised this year, I hope to appraise her next year. She has a nice rump, topline, shoulders, neck and head. Nice angulation to her rear legs and great width as well. She has a nice, high, wide rear udder. She could use better foreudder attachment and teat size, though it has improved, thankfully! She probably has the tastiest milk in the barn. Glori always throws flashy kids with belts and/or spots, icing on the cake.
She was bred to
Harmony Goats FDR Chester for Febuary kids. She kidded with buck/doe twins. They are gorgeous! The buck is white (actually a very light tan with white splashing). The doe is Chamoisee with white splashing. The doeling is retained, the buckling is sold.
