This is the same as the Senior formula with the addition of Glucosamine and Chondroitin for joint health.
With a patented process, our Flint River Ranch Senior and Mature Adult Oven-baked Kibble has been formulated with a wholesome and rich source of Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate that helps maintain healthy joint cartilage in older, mature dogs.

A functional food, rather than the traditional oral pill form, that may function to inhibit cartilage degradation by helping to stimulate the body's ability to produce more GAG's (glycosaminoglycans). The cartilage make up of the Senior PLUS formula may help with the hydration of joints because of the polyanionic characteristics, thus the lubrication needed in joints for the proper function. It is not a substitute for professional treatment, but a supportive means to assist with canine discomfort.This formula really helped my dog, Missy. She had alot of problems with her back hips before I found out about Flint River Ranch, and she was overweight. I began feeding her this formula, and after a few months she had lost her excess weight (and she had quite a bit of it I'm embarassed to say) and very little joint problems.
*** Update: She has had NO joint problems for a long time now. I have also been feeding her the Jubilee Wafers. I have not needed any other treatment for her.

*** As of 2008 Missy still has no real arthritic problems. She has been getting the Dog and Puppy Kibble rather than the senior formula, with occasional raw meats etc. She is approximately 15 years old and other than having very poor hearing, feels quite good! She truly looks better now than she did when she was 10.

FEEDING GUIDE
Because the Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.
Feed your dog once or twice a day. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog and activity. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight.
***In my experience, dogs generally need less than Flint River Ranch recommends. Especially if you are currently feeding less of a different brand.***
20-30 lbs. 1.0 to 1.5 Cups
40-50lbs. 2.0 to 2.2 Cups
60-70 lbs. 2.5 to 3.2 Cups
80-99 obs. 3.5 to 4.7 Cups

Always have fresh water available.
